尼龍PA66因其本身具有較高拉伸強度和沖擊強度，極為優越的耐磨性和耐腐蝕性，以及自潤滑等優點，作為金屬替代品廣泛用于機械、汽車、電子等行業。但由于結構的特點，尼龍普遍存在吸水性大。干態和低溫沖擊強度低，吸水后尺寸不穩定等缺點，使其應用受到限制。且中低粘度PA66的分子盤偏低，熔體流動速率大，熔體枯度小。如果直接用于擠出制品，如板管等，由于熔體粘度小而產生熔體墜落或流延現象。因為這種現象，大部分尼龍都適用于注塑成型，不宜進行擠出加工。本文研究了共hungai性的方法對PA66進行改性，開發適用于擠出工藝的高枯度，離強度的PA66。

半透明或不透明乳白色結晶形聚合物，具有可塑性。密度1．15g/cm3。熔點252℃。脆化溫度-30℃。熱分解溫度大于350℃。 連續耐熱80-120℃,平衡吸水率2．5%。能耐酸、堿、大多數無機鹽水溶液、鹵代烷、烴類、酯類、酮類等腐蝕，但易溶于苯酚、甲酸等極性溶劑。具有優良的耐磨性、自潤滑性，機械強度較高。但吸水性較大，因而尺寸穩定性較差。廣泛用于制造機械、汽車、化學與電氣裝置的零件，如齒輪、滾子、滑輪、輥軸、泵體中葉輪、風扇葉片、高壓密封圍、閥座、墊片、襯套、各種把手、支撐架、電線包層等。亦可制成薄膜用作包裝材料。此外，還可用于制作醫療器械、體育用品、日用品等
